How much is shipping?

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. I’ve shipped hundreds of artworks internationally across the world. I use various shipping methods for both domestic and for international shipment based on the size of the artwork. Please note that you may be responsible for paying any custom import or VAT duties in your country.

How long will it take for me to receive my artwork?

Most artworks which are not made to order leave the studio within 3-5 days after an order has been placed. Made to order can take between 3-5 weeks.

Question 4

Can I return my artwork?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can return your artwork within 7 days for a full refund. I don't accept Order cancellations once it’s in progress. Please contact contact@gemmaspenceart.com for starting your return process. You will be responsible for return shipping of the artwork.

The artwork that I like is already sold out. Can I request a similar one?

Most of the artworks are limited in number or limited in their time available. For custom work, please message me directly at contact@gemmaspenceart.com to request a commission.

Question 6

Is my artwork ready to hang? Does it come framed?

Accepted Answer

Most of the canvas paintings that I sell are ready to hang, i.e., they are stretched on wooden bars and can be hung directly. Framing the artwork is completely optional and usually choice of the framing material is very personal. I do not offer framing by default, but I can make some framing recommendations, so please reach out to me for ideas.

Where is my artwork made?

All artworks are made by hand in the Cotswolds, Oxford in the UK. I personally create every single painting in my art studio.

What materials do you use for creating paintings?

None of the materials I use are anything below museum standard. My work is original and created using acrylic paints.
